Some updates

1. I got a promotion.
This is both good and bad.
Promotion way better than the opposite. And I still have a job, which is also a bonus during these uncertain times, I suppose.
But we also know mo' money = mo' problems, according to the late, great Notorious BIG. But I'll have to deal with it.

2. I finished paying off my car.
The one I origingally bought for my mom, who later decided that she preferred an Accord (and who can blame her - her car is awesome). But it worked out cuz I needed a vehicle to take with me to Texas, so no hard feelings mom <3.
Anyways, it only took 3.5 years to pay it off. Woot.

3. Baby sister is graduating.
This is a little bit of a reality check. She's the baby. W...T.. Snapple. Go back to the little girl that I used to know. kthx.
Anywho, so I'll be in San Diego for the weekend of June 14th.
Will it be ok to once again crash at your house, ArWells?

Yes. Island of Happiness! (Although right now, it's more like Island of Rocks, dirt and weeds - but I'm working on that). Anyway, I've had the game for two days and I already <3 it completely. I wake up in the morning (in game) and I tend to the crops, run into town and talk to the folks, all along the way, picking up random stuff I can ship off for cash (I'm saving for a chicken coop!), and then get to bed before it gets too late. Sound boring, right? WRONG :D One day MyDamn Ranch will be the bestest ranch in the land, and I'll have cows and sheep, and a large rice paddy and I can't remember what else I can grow, but I'll have it!

Oh, and because I pre-ordered the game, it camee with this:

I hate that feeling.

I'm at this point right before I fall fully into sleep, and 'dream' that I'm walking or ascending some stairs, and suddenly lose my footing and I'm jarred awake with this sense that I fell and had to catch myself with my arms... in bed. Does that happen to anyone else?

Subconscious trying to tell me something? Just another meaningless, random, recurring vision?

Eh, who knows.

I don't know what it is about going to see Radiohead and driving long distances, but I've only seen them live twice, and both times ended up with me driving 400+ miles... (SD > SF, and now Austin > Dallas).

But dammit, if it isn't worth it.

Also, if you don't want me to get into an accident, do not put the girl with the prettiest eyes in the middle seat. Everytime I looked in the rearview mirror, it was like having someone blind me with their highbeams... only greener, and more intoxicating. :P

Oh, and when did it become fashionable to buy $40 dollar concert shirts? OK, they were made of recycled plastic. Neat. Not $40 dollars neat. Sorry Rodeohead.

I have a love/hate relationship with my phone. Or maybe it's the plan I hate. Or the amount I'm paying for it.

I have like four total bills I have to pay monthly. How the hell did I manage to pay one late!?

It never fails. I finally get my flabby ass to the gym on a pretty regular basis and, of course, crunch time starts at work.
I was actually liking the whole working out thing. I can actually keep up with the two year old and even tire him out now. Dammit.

Oh, and being salaried sucks. What was I thinking when I took THAT deal?

On another note: I recently learned that dishwashing liquid does NOT work well in a dishwasher.

Now that I've been doing the whole spelling words without vowels thing for a while, I don't understand why the letter 'Y' is the lone ambiquity.
This isn't really a new thought. But I do want to know now. Who decided this? Why isn't "Y" *just* a consonant?

Yesterday, I actually excersiced. First time in almost a year, which I guess is good.
And automagically I started to feel better about a half an hour later (after the nausea passed).

But that's also when I started to get hungry again. Which is normal, right?

So I ate... and ate... and ate... everything - three sandwiches, one of those large microwave dinners, three breakfast bars, two pickles, a can of soup (minus the can), and about two gallons of orange juice and water.

All this lead me to consider this: can I AFFORD to keep this up?
I mean, seriously. I ate like three times the amount of food I usually would. THREE!

Maybe I should get my stomach stapled :P
